NYS Parks & Trails Canal Clean Sweep

Each Earth Day, the NYS Canal Corporation and Parks & Trails New York host Canal Clean Sweep, a day of spring cleaning on sections of the Canalway Trail, in canalside parks, and in other public areas throughout the Canal corridor. Register your event for the 13th annual Clean Sweep in April 2018!

Earth Day City Wide Cleanup

Each year, the City of Troy sponsors an citywide cleanup event coinciding with Earth Day. This community event brings together residents, families, and business owners to improve community parks, green spaces and neighborhoods across the City. The City of Troy’s 2018 Earth Day Cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22.

Family Craft Night: Let’s Get Creative

Celebrate April's Earth Day with Family Craft Night at the Main Library. Children ages 4-12, with the help of their family member(s) will create art projects using recycled materials. Let's Get Creative and make treasures from trash. All materials supplied by the library. Dress for mess.

Troy City Wide Cleanup - Prep

The City of Troy will hold an informational meeting regarding the City’s annual Earth Day Cleanup at 6:00pm, Thursday, April 12 in the Main Conference Room at City Hall, located at 433 River Street, Suite 5001. All interested residents, neighborhood groups and community organizations are invited to attend and provide information on local cleanup projects.
